Robert A. Evans, Ph.D.

Dr. Evans provides expert testimony services nationwide. He is available to offer either instructional testimony or a comprehensive forensic review of a case and to present expert opinions at trial.

Dr. Evans holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Evaluation and brings more than thirty years of professional experience in individual, group, and family counseling; psychological and educational assessment; and professional training and research. He is an approved sponsor of continuing education for psychologists through the American Psychological Association and has been authorized by multiple state bar associations to provide continuing legal education to attorneys, particularly in the area of parental alienation.

Dr. Evans is the founder and President of the Center for Human Potential, where he focuses on providing expert testimony services related to divorce and family restructuring. He is also a co-founder of the National Association of Parental Alienation Specialists (NAOPAS), an online resource dedicated to education and professional support in matters involving parental alienation.

Dr. Evans is a licensed School Psychologist and has previously held credentials as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Anger Management Facilitator, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and registered Custody Evaluator. He has extensive training and experience in divorce and family mediation, community crisis response interventions, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, forensic evaluations, and advanced child custody assessments, having trained with leading scholars across these disciplines.

Dr. Evans has served as a consultant to medical, legal, and law-enforcement professionals in Florida on psychological and educational matters. His work has included providing Critical Incident Stress Debriefings for crime victims; conducting competency and insanity evaluations; delivering expert testimony; and performing numerous child custody evaluations.

In addition, Dr. Evans has directed and managed training programs for a wide range of public and private institutions, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Energy, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Postal Service, AT&T, CIGNA Insurance, the Kennedy Space Center, and multiple public school districts across the United States.
