How to Retain Dr. Evans as an Expert Witness

Dr. Evans provides forensic services that include expert testimony, attorney and client consultation, and the development of parenting plans in child custody matters, with particular emphasis on cases involving parental alienation. His testimony is designed to educate and inform the Court regarding the psychological dynamics and scientific foundations of the facts at issue, as they relate to the child’s best interests.

Typical Process:

      • Schedule a consultation phone call (no charge) with you and your attorney.
      • Review and sign the Expert Testimony Agreement and pay the retainer.
      • Complete and return the Baker Model for Identifying Parental Alienation worksheet, with accompanying documentation. Be sure to return this document and accompanying documentation at least thirty days prior to any required due dates for his Expert Disclosure Statement.
      • Keep Dr. Evans and his team updated to any upcoming trial or deposition dates, continuances, etc. Please consult with him prior to committing him for trials.
      • Dr. Evans will review the Baker Model for Identifying Parental Alienation worksheet and documentation to determine if the evidence meets the criteria of parental alienation and write his Expert Disclosure to submit to you and/or your attorney.
      • Dr. Evans will testify at trial.
