Three powerful strategies that will help rehabilitate you case

Presented by: Robert A. Evans, Ph.D.

Dr. Evans is an approved sponsor of Continuing Legal Education by the Florida Bar.

  • Trial Strategies for child custody cases
  • The important evaluation errors that can affect your case
  • Key questions to examine/cross an evaluator

In this workshop you will learn

To rehabilitate your case or protect it when you receive a child custody evaluation.  If the report is favorable to your case you need to know where you may be vulnerable.  If the report is unfavorable to your case you need to know where the report is weak and lacking.  The recommendations contained in custody evaluations can be very influential in family law cases. Unfortunately, some evaluations do not meet professional guidelines and practice standards, may lack in scientific methods, empirical research support, psychological relevance, and thus can be misleading to the court! This workshop addresses the requirements for evaluations to meet current legal standards of admissibility. Prepare and plan your courtroom strategy to effectively address these situations by learning how to deal with damaging evaluations and how to rehabilitate your case in the event they occur despite your best efforts.
